Crawley Personal Trainer hints and tips to drop dress sizes:
I have dealt eslewhere with the issue of a full assessment before commencing training sessions with your Crawley Personal Trainer.
Bear witih me, and read on to understand what the platform for success is built on, particularly if we have concrete goals in mind such as "I am now size sixteen, when I was a size ten. I want to be size ten within six months, I want more energy, better sleep, clearer skin, and to like myself more". I want to feel confident in any clothes, in any settings.. you get the idea, whether or not you think you can, you are probably right. Let's make it happen.
We do things to gain pleasure or avoid harm. Most people want to lose size, or Body Fat as a ratio of their overall body composition. The harms from being bigger than we want to be include (potenially) development of diabetes, heart conditions, high cholesterol, breathlessness, and so forth. We also possibly experience loss of self esteem, and we imagine- the respect of our peers, at work and at play.
We process the world through our five senses, and the our strongest associations or memories invariably involve more of these senses than more mundane recollections, and they are also at a greater intensity. I remember my bungy jump, but not the detail of shopping at the local Co-Op- makes sense, doesn't it? So, if we can associate positive, feel good emotions, images, sights, sounds, smells and tastes, and so forth. Our friends or partner/date/relatives complimenting us on when we look good, or a feeling great on a memorable day, all stick in the memory. If we feel bad now, we can probably remember a time when we felt better, great even.
We don't need to know all of the route to get to our destinations, either, just where we are starting from and which signs we are looking for next, and within that, we steer the road that our headlamps illuminate.
Our assessment ensures that you know wnere you are starting from and your strengths and weaknesses, where you feel good and what you want to improve. We use this to work out the staging posts in where you want to get to. Remember, you navigate to your destination by landmarks along the way.
In a cooked breakfast, it is said that the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed, if you see what I mean. Commitment in you is best achieved by working out the pursuit of good outcomes and avolding bad ones. To put it in a more extreme way, and not recommended, but as Kate Moss said, "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". In other, more positive words, keep your goals uppermost in your mind, and your outcomes are more assured.
So, if you are a woman wanting to drop any number of dress sizes, you associate to the bad points about being as you presently are- whatever they might be.... You imagine the setting that you want to triumph in and visualise it as strongly as possible- who will be there, where will it be, what will it smell like, what will you be hearing, will it be hot, or cool, what colours will there be? And so forth. Create that picture, and share it with me to help you define your goals, for example, will it be a hot day in Ibiza, on a yellow sand, with the hot sand burning your feel between your flip flops, and the smell of sunscreen with the taste grenadine in your cocktail, not to mention the white rum, will the sea shimmer and what will your friends be saying? "Do you know, I just never thought you would do it, I so admire you, and you look FANTASTIC... can you tell me what to do?"
And the compliments keep on coming, from work colleagues, when people you have not seen for some time say "is that you?- I did not recognise you!!"
You just got involved, now to get COMMITTED!
Buy the dress or outfit that you want to wear when you reach your targets...put it on the outside of the wardrobe, where you can see it. Look at it when you got to sleep and when you wake up. Touch it, feel it, imagine how it will feel. Carry a "slim" photo of you in your purse. Imagine your outcome as you take the stairs, or walk where you would have driven. Throw out your fat clothes as you grow out of them. There is no going back, you are COMMITTED.
Pre-warn your friends to support you..and cease talking to those who try to tempt you with foods that you have sworn off... talk to them only when you are strong, or when you are where you want to be. Failure like success leaves clues. You can then help them to understand where they might be, and why they wanted you to remain as you were, and they probably still are, or soon will be.

Act as if success is already here. You will be in the best shape of your life, in fact you already are...would that you eat that/do that/not do that/drink that/say that? Talk your walk then walk your talk, well, I am sure that you understand what I am driving at.
We forget how to do things bit by bit, destructive habits form without us understanding how. One week for each year spent getting out of condition is all it should take to convince you that you can reverse the situation you are in. Think the right thing, and do the thing right. Simples? Why not? With your clarity and commitment there is no earthly reason why not.
